All On The Cover: Miley Cyrus Covers Elle

Miley Cyrus is gracing the cover and inside pages of the new August 2009 cover issue of Elle magazine, and inside the teen queen poses in black thigh-high boots and talks about her new clothing line with Max Azria for Wal Mart. She is not a kid anymore, even though she’s underage.

On why she’s not a kid anymore

On the value of style: “I would pay $500 for the jeans that we make for $20. I’m really into high fashion.”

On natural beauty: “I like these crooked. I love my teeth. My dad won’t let me fix my teeth or cut my hair. He loves it. He’s like, ‘It’s you!”

On her new line for Wal Mart: “The jeans are my favorite part of the entire line,” Miley told Elle. “Because, like, literally this is going to be good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but that don’t have it available.”

She also talks about her friendships (and one-time romance) with Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato.

“It’s hard for all of us. There are so many people that could be using you. So me and Nick and Demi, we don’t need anything from each other. We got our own thing going on.”

On Justin Gaston, her boyfriend at the time of the interview: “We’re together, and then again, we’re not. Some people see us more as friends and don’t get why we work in a relationship. They’re like, ‘It’s weird, best friends shouldn’t date!’ But the person that you eventually spend the rest of your life with – I’m not saying it’s him – why are you going to wake up with someone every day and not want to hang out with them?”

About the glamorous life: “The most fun thing about prom is having that one special night when you dress up and you feel like a princess, and honestly, I get to do that one night a lot.”

Music News: Shaheen Jafargholi Signed By Brad Pitt’s Agent

Twelve-year-old Shaheen Jafargholi has been signed up by Brad Pitt‘s talent agency after he appeared at Michael Jackson‘s memorial service. The youngster, who amazed audiences with his incredible voice on Britain’s Got Talent, impressed Jacko before he died and was set to perform at the London shows of the singer’s This Is It tour.

It is claimed his career in the US will now take off after his tribute to Jackson at the Staples Center and LA-based agency, CAA, are reported to be looking after the lad. The agency were behind footballer David Beckham‘s move to LA and Pitt, George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey and Will Smith are among the celebrities on their books. A source said: “Shaheen has had requests to appear on all the big TV shows. He has meetings lined up with Nickelodeon TV and Disney. “Disney are looking at finding a role for him in their High School Musical and Hannah Montana-style shows. Producer-director Kenny Ortega is involved in both and was the man behind the Jackson memorial. He loves Shaheen.” CAA also represent Britain’s Got Talent star Simon Cowell, 49, who is rumored to be planning a record deal for Shaheen.

Just In: Michael Jackson’s Death Overdose or Homicide?

Police looking into the death of pop star Michael Jackson have confirmed the investigation could lead to criminal charges. Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton said they are awaiting the coroner’s report but said the investigation could point towards homicide or overdose.

According to reports in the, the Jackson family know these charges could come. “The family is aware of a potential criminal prosecution,” a family source reportedly told CNN. In a new interview, Bratton also revealed a ‘number of items’ taken from the King of Pop’s home are assisting in their work. The LAPD chief told CNN that detectives have spoken to a number of doctors who treated Jacko over the years and are looking into the singer’s prescription drug history. “We are still awaiting corroboration from the coroner’s office as to cause of death. That is going to be very dependent on the toxicology reports that are due to come back,” he said. “And based on those, we will have an idea of what it is we are dealing with: are we dealing with a homicide or are we dealing with accidental overdose? “At the time of the death with search warrants, we were able to seize a number of items from the residence where the death occurred and those will assist in the investigation.” He did not elaborate on what police found.

The singer, who has been having an on-again, off-again relationship with musician Travis McCoy, says: “I’d love to be married in the next five years. “But as much as I make plans, I can also be spontaneous. So if I find that one person, then f*** it – why would I wait?” At the moment, just having someone she can share her life with appeals to Perry. She says: “I want someone to tell the details to – that I had dinner with Paul McCartney or that I met Madonna. “I’m on this extraordinary adventure and if I have no one to talk to at the end of the night, I feel lonely.”

90210 star AnnaLynne McCord has revealed she can’t wait for Rumer Willis to join the cast on an upcoming episode of the hit show – because she has a ‘girl crush’ on her famous mother Demi Moore. McCord, 21, gushed: “I’m very happy to have her, I have met Rumer once or twice and she is very sweet.

“I think she’s awesome and obviously, you know, I kind of have a girl crush on her mom so its good to have her.” Willis‘s mother is Demi Moore, the former wife of her dad Bruce Willis. Adding to the girl theme of McCord‘s excitement is the fact that Rumer is set to play a punky lesbian named Gia. McCord also discussed another new cast member, former US soap star Trevor Donovan, who she calls a ‘hunky young Robert Redford‘. She added: “He is the new hunk in town. It was so funny because we all read the description obviously in the first episode and it was like ‘a young Robert Redford’ and we were like: ‘Who are they going to get for this?’ “Those are kind of big shoes to fill. Robert Redford. Are you kidding me? So we walk on set and the wind is blowing and he is like popping tennis balls and he looks just like a young Robert Redford. “And we were like: ‘Wow, they did pretty good’.”

Just In: Diana Ross Doesn’t Want Responsibility of Jackson’s Kids?

Diana Ross and Michael Jackson no doubt shared a very special relationship dating back to his childhood years, but it seems the songstress was served quite the surprise last week when it was revealed Jacko named her as a secondary caregiver in his will. The late King of Pop specified that he wanted Ross to be given custody of his three children should his first choice, mother Katherine, be unable to do so.

Diana’s 20-year-son Evan Ross and his girlfriend were overheard discussing the issue at Diddy’s Fourth of July White Party presented by Starbucks Ice-cream in Los Angeles on Saturday. According to what they told friends, Ms. Ross had “no idea” Jackson had named her in the will and wasn’t too thrilled about being put in such a position of responsibility.

A rep for Ross did not respond for comment.

Michael Jackson‘s mother feels Neverland Ranch is too tainted to become a burial site for her son. Katherine Jackson is said to have had heated discussions with Michael‘s brother, Jermaine, who wants the singer to be buried at the ranch where he lived from 1988 to 2003.

Charges of child molestation made against the singer and police raids are believed to have caused him to leave. Katherine believes that Michael would not wish to be laid to rest there for the same reasons that he did not want to live there. A source close to Katherine said: “Michael left Neverland for good, never to return. He felt violated by law enforcement after his molestation trial. He felt this place he had built had been tainted.” Jermaine said: “This is his home, he created this. Why wouldn’t he be here? I feel his presence. And I love that. I want my mother to come back here and feel what I feel. He built this place with love and you can see it and feel it.”

Music News: Judith Hill Singer From Michael Jackson’s Memorial

When the all-star Michael Jackson memorial ceremony in Los Angeles came to an end today, millions of fans watching the event became curious about the woman who sang lead on Jackson’s “Heal the World.” The mystery singer was Judith Hill, a Pasadena, California-based vocalist who was recruited to be one of the backup singers for Jackson’s This Is It! concerts at London’s O2 Arena. Hill wowed the crowd and the millions watching around the world with her rendition of the Dangerous song, but her identity had most viewers baffled — the “We Are the World” and “Heal the World” performers weren’t identified in the handouts at the Staples Center or on any other documents distributed to the press.

According to the bio on Hill’s official Website, “Judith was born in Los Angeles and raised in a family of musicians. Her mother is an immigrant from Japan who met her father in a funk band in the 1970s.” Hill is described as discovering her love of music at an early age while growing up in a deeply religious household, which led her to attend the Christian university Biola University in Southern California. Hill’s bio says the singer next headed to France after graduation to perform with French singer Michel Polnareff.

“France is where I collected my stories,” Hill writes. “It was everything from finding true love, to sitting on the curb with gypsies, to running away from thugs (don’t ask), to just taking in the beauty of such an amazing country. I came back rich.” From there, Hill returned to the States, begin work on her own album (three songs are currently streaming on Hill’s MySpace page) and ultimately became a crew member on what’s described as the biggest production in concert history, Michael Jackson’s This Is It! concerts.

On June 8th, Hill announced on her official Website that she would be joining the cast of Jackson’s run at London’s O2 Arena. “Judith will be touring with Michael Jackson in a few weeks. You can catch her on stage in London at the 02 Arena,” reads a post. Sadly, the This Is It! run was canceled, but Hill and her fellow crew members played an important role at Tuesday’s memorial service, and Hill will likely feature in the tribute concert AEG Live is reportedly planning using the This Is It! production. Rolling Stone has reached out to Hill for comment, but she has not yet responded to our request for an interview.
