Album Cover: Jazmine Sullivan Unveils Album Cover for “Love Me Back”

She’s been known to bust the windows out the car, but Jazmine Sullivan puts down the crowbar on the cover of her sophomore album “Love Me Back.” The fragile songstress, dressed in all black, leans against an old-school Chevy Impala in the artwork from the November 2nd release, which contains the Missy Elliott-produced single ‘Holding You Down (Goin’ in Circles).’

“I was a little angry on the first album, busting windows and things,” said the 23-year-old Sullivan. “I’m not quite as angry on this one. You see a different side of relationships, the more loving side.”

Out & About: Kanye West at the 2010 New Yorkers for Children Fall Gala

Kanye West and red carpets don’t always get along. But they put their differences aside for a good cause at the 2010 New Yorkers for Children Fall Gala to benefit youth in foster care. ‘West was looking sharp in a black tuxedo, pocket square, and loafers without socks, braved the flashing lights at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on Tuesday (Sept. 21). Supermodel Selita Ebanks, who he was seen getting close with at the U.S. Open, was also in attendance. The evening wasn’t complete without a performance from Estelle.

Music In Ya Ear!: Diddy feat. Lil’ Wayne & Justin Timberlake – “Shades”

Diddy, Lil Wayne, and Justin Timberlake rock sunglasses at night on “Shades,” the latest leak from his oft-delayed album ‘Last Train to Paris’. Formerly released with tags, this version sees the Bad Boy mogul switching roles with J.T., with Puff singing through Auto-Tune and the former *NSYNC-er spitting a hushed rap verse.

Diddy’s far superior single, the sweet and melodic “Loving You No More” featuring Drake, hit iTunes today. Go pick that up instead of replaying this jumble of inconsistent beats.

Check the dark, electronic club tune below, and look for the Train’s arrival this December.

Her sophomore album saw Chrisette Michele having an ‘Epiphany’, but with her third offering, she’s ready to ‘Let Freedom Reign’. The Grammy-winning songstress is prepping for a November 30 release with the follow-up to her 2009 chart-topping album.

The bulk of the new material was comprised by Chuck Harmony and Chrisette, and boasts songs of triumph over love, loss, and freedom to love again. It has already spawned the first single “I’m A Star,” written by Ne-Yo and produced by Harmony—the same team behind her hit “Epiphany (I’m Leaving).”

Fans can add to their Chrisette collection when the feel-good track hits iTunes on October 5. Also look for her in Rick Ross’ video for “Aston Martin Music,” filmed last week in Miami with Drake.
