Spotted: Leona Lewis at Knott’s Scary Farm’s Halloween Haunt

Singer Leona Lewis and a few of her friends were spotted at Knott’s Scary Farm’s Halloween Haunt over the weekend on in Buena Park, California. Lewis looked like she was having a blast as she posed with the monsters and her friend.

Lewis recently pulled out of a concert in Abuja, Nigeria after bomb attacks killed 12 people. The gig was to celebrate 50 years of the African country’s independence.

In a statement, she said:

“Out of respect for those victims, it is with regret that I have had to postpone my performance.”

Leona was reportedly in a hotel with friends when the attacks took place.

Music News: Kelly Rowland Sang “National Anthem” at NY Giants vs. Chicago Bears Game

R&B singer Kelly Rowland sang the National Anthem before a game at Sunday’s New York Giants vs. Chicago Bears game at the New Meadowlands Stadium on October 3, 2010 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Rowland almost pulled out after suffering from a cold but stuck to the gig and did very well I must say. She was joined on the field by 125 Breast Cancer survivors dressed in pink T-shirts who formed a giant ribbon during her performance. Rowland, along with both teams, were showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Giants invited the women as part of “A Crucial Catch: Annual Screening Saves Lives Initiative” that encourages women over 40 to obtain an annual mammogram.

Breast cancer is the second-most common form of cancer in women behind non-melanoma skin cancer.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says more than 191-thousand woman were diagnosed with it in 2006, the last year for which numbers are available.

Music In Ya Ear!: Keri Hilson – “Pretty Girl Rock”

Keri Hilson performed her new single, “Pretty Girl Rock,” on Wednesday Sept. 29, 2010 in Time Square at the Beats by Dr. Dre Event. Keri is beautiful and of course she knows it. She made sure that you knew it as well. Her lyrics, “Girls think I’m conceited because I know I’m attractive.” “Don’t hate me ’cause I’m beautiful!”

Written and produced by Ne-Yo and Chuck Harmony, “Pretty Girl Rock” is the second single from Hilson’s sophomore album, ‘No Boys Allowed’, which currently doesn’t have a release date. Following the lukewarm response to the disc’s lead single “Breaking Point,” Hilson is hoping “Pretty Girl Rock” becomes a hit. I think personally, the song is DOPE!! It is definitely a feel good tune, and definitely a them song for those confident ladies, especially the ones who have an inner Alter-Ego, as I do…LOL

I was actually at the event celebrating my 10 year Anniversary with my man, and boy was it a great way to spend it. Keri Hilson was looking so beautiful. WOW!! She came out performing with a gun microphone than switched up afterwards. It looked like it weighed a ton for her to be holding while performing. She definitely rocked the show. Her grommet vest was DOPE!! I so want it.

Also in attendance performing was Soulja Boy. He ended up making it rain, by throwing a stack of money into the crowd. Note to the ladies, he actually looks better in person than what he does on tv…Just saying!

Dr. Dre was also there, but never came down to the stage area to say anything or at least thank everyone for coming to the event. I thought was a bit messed up on his part, but I guess you can say the performances took away from his shine.

It was great! We really enjoyed ourselves. Happy 10 Year Anniversary to me! ;o)

Check out the “Pretty Girl Rock” performance after the jump….I will also be posting up some photos from the event, real soon. I need to get them uploaded.
