Celebrity News: Christina Milian Says The-Dream is Lying

Two days after TMZ released court documents filed by Terius Nash, aka The-Dream, Christina Milian breaks her silence. The documents posted on TMZ‘s website on July 22, 2010 were divorce papers filed by The-Dream just nine days before Christina gave birth to Violet. In the documents, The-Dream claims that his marriage to Christina is “irretrievably broken,” and he declares, “There is no hope for reconciliation.”

The document also states:

However, in a legal response filed last week, Christina says they were not legally separated at the time and that she and her husband had “marital relations on numerous occasions,” after he filed his claim. She wants a judge to throw out the divorce papers filed by her hubby in February, because he lied about the status of their relationship. She admits that she signed a settlement agreement with The-Dream in which both parties waved any alimony or ownership right’s to the other person’s property. However, she claims the only reason she signed the document was because The-Dream brought them to her bedside when she was 9-months pregnant and in no condition to sign such important papers.

If the court does grant the divorce Christina feels it should not be based on The-Dream’s claim that the marriage is “irretrievably broken,” but rather, because the The-Dream was cheating on her.

Dear Diary: The-Dream’s Open Letter

RAPPER The-Dream tried to commit suicide following his split from Christina Milian.

The star — who married the AM to PM beauty in September 2009 and has five-month-old daughter Violet with her — has revealed the turmoil he suffered in the months since his relationship with the beautiful pop star ended earlier this year.

“I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming,” he said.

“This is not to justify anything, it’s true emotion. It’s a real thing that involves real people.”

Earlier this month, the producer-and-rapper — real name Terius Nash — admitted his relationship with Christina ended several months ago, but they only announced their separation after he was spotted on the beach with his assistant Melissa Santiago.

Despite the pictures, Terius is adamant nobody else was involved in their split.

“I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn’t successful, but today that is between me and Christina. It’s easy to say that it’s because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, it’s not,” he said.

“I take full responsibility for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for a while! I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn’t for anyone to know. I would never intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that!”

The rapper also claimed he didn’t want to announce the marriage was over because he was embarrassed and felt like a failure.

“Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we were failing and have now failed,” he added.

In My Own Words:

First I want to thank God for the trials of life, without them we can’t know purpose!

I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn’t successful, but today that is between me and Christina.  Its easy to say that it’s because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, IT’S NOT.

I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile!  I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn’t for anyone to know.  I would NEVER intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that!  There was so much going on in me and Christina’s personal world that I tried to deal with it as delicately as I could and tried to regain my footing.  Instead of being direct in order not to cause even more hurt or hurt someone’s feelings, I carried the weight in secret!

I am Human and people fall in and out of Love all the time… This is Life.  Nothing’s promised or perfect, neither am I.  I am not proud that I lost something we once had…LOVE!  I’ve always been a Loving Father, Hard Worker, Generous, Stern and Eager to prove myself.  My faults are I can be irresponsible and an *ss sometimes, but I HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER be a malicious person or wish harm to anyone, especially those I love or the mother of my child.  I’m sorry for the embarrassment to everyone involved!  If there’s anyone to blame and you can’t fathom this happening, please blame me and me alone for not being upfront!  Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED!

This is not to justify anything, it’s true emotion! It’s a real thing that involves real people!  I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.

But I was reminded by my MOTHER that I am not “Superman” and its okay to lose sometimes…

Just In: The-Dream Says He Tried to Kill Himself Over Failed Marriage with Christina

The-Dream has posted an open letter on his website.

In the letter Dream apologizes to fans for “misleading everyone” into believing his marriage was fine when he really was, “simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we were failing.” He also claims in this letter that he tried to commit suicide when he realized his marriage with singer Christina Milian was failing.

He wrote:

“I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.”

The letter dramatically ends with,

“This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!”

Meanwhile, Mediatakeout.com has reported on their site that a close friend of Christina leaked information to them about the couples dysfunctional marriage saying,

“she has NEVER removed her ring because she and Dream NEVER broke up….. His announcement was the first time he ever expressed not wanting to spend the rest of his life with her”

Christina Milian and The-Dream’s split became public earlier this week in an announcement from The-Dream’s rep.

Just In: Melissa Marie Santiago Revealed & More Reasons to Believe The-Dream is a Liar

Meet Melissa Marie Santiago, The-Dream‘s assistant. Sources are reporting that Melissa Marie is the “mystery woman” pictured in the photos with The-Dream. The below images are said to have been taken from Melissa‘s Facebook page before she shut down her profiles on both Facebook and Myspace this morning. The second photo shows Melissa smiling with Christina Milian right next to her! Its obvious the two have known each other for some time now.

According to sources, The-Dream bought Melissa a Porsche. Talk about a job with benefits! The two drove their Porsches to a listening session back in May. Although this would lead some to believe that The-Dream did indeed spilt from his wife prior to the racy photos being released, not too many people are buying it.

Just last month in an interview with Essence.com, Dream talked about his relationship with Christina.

“We recently saw a rumor that you and wife Christina are experiencing issues because you’re unfaithful… on camera. True?

The rumors are not true and it really boils my blood. Christina and I are cool. People keep asking, ‘Why haven’t we seen you guys out together?’ I’m working, that’s why you haven’t seen us. She’s at work too in Los Angeles. The women in the pictures are actually legitimate friends of mine. The photo with me in the car and another woman… she’s a good friend who’s at my house all the time. It’s sad, because [the blogs] have humiliated her. She feels bad, I feel bad and you don’t know what that [judgment] does to that person.”

Not to mention, it’s kind of hard to believe Dream‘s side of this story when fans are referring back to Christina‘s Twitter page where she tweeted two weeks ago saying;

“Everybody go pick up that LOVEKING album from THE-DREAM ASAP! Support my boo!”

June 26th she tweeted:

“Okay I may have been a lil buzzed dancing to my boo’s performance… DON’T JUDGE ME!”

Maybe The-Dream did break-it off with his wife back in 2009, but perhaps someone should have let her in on the secret.

Christina Milian‘s “Dream” seems to be more of a nightmare.

Paparazzi have released photos of the Singer’s husband, The-Dream cheating!

Images surfaced today (Monday, July 12th 2010) of Terius “The-Dream” Nash getting touchy feely with Melissa Santiago while frolicking on a Caribbean beach.

The-Dream appears to be looking right at the cameras in two of the photos!

While others show his hands groping Melissa‘s bottom & her legs wrapped around his waist.

The-Dream’s rep. has stated that the Singer/Producer is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. According to his rep. the couple decided the relationship had failed late 2009, but opted to keep the news private.

This news comes as a shocker and is rather hard to believe considering the fact that the couple had their second wedding ceremony, in Rome, in December of 2009.

The couple’s daughter Violet, was born five months ago, on February 26th of this year. Christina‘s only statements about the incident were posted on her Twitter page.

The singer tweeted,

“I’ve officially lost my appetite.
WHATEVER YOU THINK     BELIEVE IT.”

Singer Christina Milian may not be dominating the pop charts any more. But she is definitely top of the bikini bods as she unveiled her curvy figure beachside in Hawaii. The Dip It Low singer was dropped by her label last year, but is planning a return to the spotlight with a blonde makeover, and a sexy new look.

But Christina clearly couldn’t wait for the career relaunch instead opting to reveal almost all during a mini-break with her rapper/producer boyfriend The Dream.

The petite singer turned actress stripped down to the briefest of Gucci bikinis as she enjoyed a sunny break in the paradise isle of Maui. Christina, 27, appeared to be admiring the efforts of some hard work in the gym, as she posed and preened on the beach.Or maybe she was just trying to impress her boyfriend, who clearly didn’t feel the need to get as undressed as Christina, opting for all-black ensemble including a baseball cap, and a scarf.

Admiring: The singer turned actress may not have enjoyed many hits of late but she has certainly kept up the good work in the gym.

Smooching: The couple ate lunch in their luxury cabana, while Christina showed off her bikini bod her boyfriend covered up in a black shirt, shorts and cap.

Earlier the couple were seen lying poolside at their five star hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean. They ate in their luxury cabana before smooching in the sunshine.

Christina, who has dated Jay Z, and Nick Cannon recently dismissed rumors of an engagement, she wrote on her blog: ‘No, I am not. Point blank, period. Pretty funny.

Pool party: Christina has been enjoying a whirlwind romance with the producer…and seemed quite happy to smooch with him in public.

‘I think since I announced the title of my new album Elope these
rumors seem to be looming around lately… It’s an album title and a title track.

‘And to me Elope represents taking control of my life and being
an adult making my own responsible decisions.’

And that includes her new platinum blonde look, however,
Christina‘s it didn’t go down well with some people.

Jermaine Dupri, and R&B star Usher were among those who expressed distaste for ‘X-Tina’ hairstyle. Comments were also made in a video posted on J.D.’s YouTube account.

Makeover: Christina’s makeover was the subject of furious internet gossip even from celebrity bloggers such as Janet Jackson’s partner Jermaine Dupri.

After seeing the photos of Milian sporting blonde locks at a Hawks game with The-Dream, singer-songwriter Johnta Austin, said:

‘This is what happens when people fall out of the game. … That’s Christina Milian looking like a damn fool. ‘I used to think Christina Milian was hot. I used to want to take her to bed,’ Austin goes on to say. ‘She couldn’t get a ride to the bus station looking like this right now.’

The clip has since been removed, and Usher has apologized.

Boyfriend The Dream recently remixed Kanye West’s track ‘Amazing’ on which girlfriend Milian sings: ‘Am I the most hated in the world? And would that change if I was your girl?’
