T.I. premieres another track called, “No Mercy”. In this video, he shares the screen with The-Dream.
The song is taken from T.I.‘s next studio installment of the same name ‘No Mercy’ which is set to come out on December 7, while he is still staying behind bars. The music video is not merely to promote his music but also to keep himself visible on TV while he is in jail.
Beside welcoming the release of his seventh studio album, T.I. also has two Grammy nominations to celebrate. He is nominated for Best Rap Solo Performance for his comeback single “I’m Back” and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for his part in Drake‘s “Fancy” which also features Swizz Beatz.
Rihanna’s steamy collaboration Drake, the Island-infused love jam “What’s My Name”, off of Rihanna‘s ‘LOUD’ album, is the number one song in the country right now. Perfect timing for the song’s video to drop, no? In the video, Rihanna and Drake get touchy-feely with one another.
Drake told the New York Times back in June about his brief relationship with Rihanna after she had asked him to write a song for her (that was never released).
“I was a pawn,” he said. “You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, wow, this feels terrible.”
Looks like the two artists were able to kiss (on camera) and make up to make this sweet new video. We’ll cheers to that!

Keri Hilson gives us a history lesson in her new video for “Pretty Girl Rock”, off her upcoming album ‘No Boys Allowed’. Miss Keri Baby kicks off the vid taking a cue from Josephine Baker in 20s regalia, and soon Hilson goes flows throughout the decades, fashioning herself as Diana Ross, Janet Jackson decked out in her utilitarian wear in “Rhythm Nation” and TLC’s T-Boz in the group’s silk pajamas-sporting “Creep” vid.

Music In Ya Ear!: Keri Hilson – “Pretty Girl Rock”:
“The video is cute, but not my favorite. I think it should’ve looked much more tough, she looks to dainty in this video. What are your thoughts on this video?”
T.I. and Chris Brown premiere the music video for the latest single “Get Back Up”. The track is off of T.I.‘s ‘No Mercy’ album previously known as ‘King Uncaged’, which is set to be released in stores on December 7th. As for the message of the song, well let’s just say, “sometimes getting back up from a big fall is the best thing you can do, especially for T.I. who just got sent back to jail, and Chris Brown for his major fall, with his domestic incident with Rihanna“.
Trey Songz aka “Panty Dropper” ain’t letting his shine fade no way. With a very successful album ‘Ready’, Trey is prepping his new album ‘Passion, Pain & Pleasure’, which was released September 14th. This time the “Mr.StealYourGirl” teams up with our favorite Barbie, Nicki Minaj, on his new lead club banger single “Bottoms Up”.

Like stages of grief, there are stages of processing an M.I.A. video. First there’s a kind of dumbfounded, eyebrow-raising befuddlement as you wonder whether you’re actually watching a music video or not. Then there’s the moment where you say to yourself, “I can’t believe this is M.I.A.’s new music video. I am surprised. It is not a traditional music video, that’s for sure.” Or something of that nature.
Then you feel weird because you realize you were talking to yourself out loud about M.I.A. videos when you were supposed to be working or studying or whatever.
Then! Then something strange happens. You become kind of intoxicated by M.I.A.‘s whole subversion of the generic music video, and eventually, whether you “like” it (because, in a way, M.I.A. doesn’t really care if you like it or not), you become sort of entranced by it.
So, here we have M.I.A.‘s video for “Story To Be Told,” from her recent album, ‘Born Free.’M.I.A. has been nice enough to set up a little website where the clip is streaming. What will you find there? Oh you know, the usual… Psychedelic, late-’90s Internet visuals that employ a similar motif to her album cover, and lyrics, rendered in the style of one of those Captcha identity certification programs. Totally normal. Just like making a video about rounding up and killing redheads (which was the theme of M.I.A.’s “Born Free” video).

Rihanna’s video for “Who’s That Chick?” has just dropped unexpectedly. She surprised her fans today and may have also released the record to test her audience’s response to her dance-oriented sound which she intends to express on her new album. The previously unreleased track is fun and uptempo, but by the looks of the clip and the sound of the track, it seems Rihanna is getting us prepared for her upcoming album, ‘LOUD’– “Sassy, Fun, Flirty, Energetic”. We’re assuming this song will be her second single.
Here is a brand new song from rapper Twista featuring Chris Brown called, “Make A Movie.”
The track which obviously talks about making a private sex tape. It has the artist spitting rhymes like he was going for the world record again, while Brown seduces the ladies with words like “we do not need a script for this.”
“Make a Movie” will be featured on Twista’s 8th studio album “The Perfect Storm.” Rumor has it there will be a lot of artists jumping on his records and vice-versa. I guess you can say, “Twista is Back!!”
