The latest music video drop from Beyonce’ sent social media into a whirlwind of shares in a matter of seconds. It had memes and quotes going viral instantly. This video speaks major volumes. She holds nothing back. The Queen Bey has claimed her thrown once again and with non other than her Princess Blue Ivy right beside her, letting you know she got her mommy’s back.
Take a listen below:
My favorite quote from the song is, “I’m so wreckless, when I rock my Givenchy dress.”
This is a super hot week for Britney Spears. She just announced that Nicki Minaj will be touring with her this summer and now she’s getting down and dirty with red hot Rihanna on her hit song “S&M”.
Rihanna headed to her Twitter(@Rihanna) to ask fans which artist they would like love to see on her “S&M” remix and Britney Spears seemed to be the leader of the pack. Rihanna contacted Britney and the two pop divas collaborated on the singer’s sexiest single.
Rihanna was even super excited when Britney agreed to do the remix. She took to her Twitter to tease her fans about the new collabo.
“I got a #SEXY collabo comin your way supa dupa soon!!!! OH YEAH!!! By popular demand,” she teased, later revealing, “Its BRITNEY BITCH!!!! One of the biggest worldwide popstars! U gangsta #EPIC.”
Jay-Z has always wished to do a collaboration with Sade. Well his wish has finally been granted. Sade does her very first musical collaboration with none other than Jay-Z. Her latest track “The Moon & Sky” is one of my favorite new tracks. Sade is a very a soulful singer, but the remix with Jay-Z is just magic. The Ultimate Collection drops May 3.
Trey Songz aka “Panty Dropper” ain’t letting his shine fade no way. With a very successful album ‘Ready’, Trey is prepping his new album ‘Passion, Pain & Pleasure’, which was released September 14th. This time the “Mr.StealYourGirl” teams up with our favorite Barbie, Nicki Minaj, on his new lead club banger single “Bottoms Up”.
Check out the official video for “Bottoms Up” Trey Songz ft. Nicki Minaj below…. Enjoy!
Like stages of grief, there are stages of processing an M.I.A. video. First there’s a kind of dumbfounded, eyebrow-raising befuddlement as you wonder whether you’re actually watching a music video or not. Then there’s the moment where you say to yourself, “I can’t believe this is M.I.A.’s new music video. I am surprised. It is not a traditional music video, that’s for sure.” Or something of that nature.
Then you feel weird because you realize you were talking to yourself out loud about M.I.A. videos when you were supposed to be working or studying or whatever.
Then! Then something strange happens. You become kind of intoxicated by M.I.A.‘s whole subversion of the generic music video, and eventually, whether you “like” it (because, in a way, M.I.A. doesn’t really care if you like it or not), you become sort of entranced by it.
So, here we have M.I.A.‘s video for “Story To Be Told,” from her recent album, ‘Born Free.’M.I.A. has been nice enough to set up a little website where the clip is streaming. What will you find there? Oh you know, the usual… Psychedelic, late-’90s Internet visuals that employ a similar motif to her album cover, and lyrics, rendered in the style of one of those Captcha identity certification programs. Totally normal. Just like making a video about rounding up and killing redheads (which was the theme of M.I.A.’s “Born Free” video).

Mariah Carey has officially unveiled her festive cover artwork for her upcoming LP ‘Merry Christmas II You‘. The artwork was shot by noted celebrity photographer David LaChapelle. The first single to be lifted from the project will be the Bryan Michael-Cox produced ‘Oh Santa’, and the LP itself will drop in stores on November 2nd, courtesy of Island Def Jam Music Group.
The project features a brand new recording of Mariah’s all-time classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’, as well as festive covers such as ‘The First Noel’, ‘Little Drummer Boy’, ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’ and ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ just to name the few. Producers Randy Jackson, Jermaine Dupri, James Poyser and Marc Shaiman also worked with the singer on FOUR original new songs for the album.
I don’t know why she’s remaking such a classic and one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’. This song will never me re-made the way it originally sounds. I hope that for her sake it comes out better if not the same. I can’t wait to start hearing the new tunes all over NYC, while I’m Christmas shopping.

So many exciting things happening for the diva.

Rihanna’s video for “Who’s That Chick?” has just dropped unexpectedly. She surprised her fans today and may have also released the record to test her audience’s response to her dance-oriented sound which she intends to express on her new album. The previously unreleased track is fun and uptempo, but by the looks of the clip and the sound of the track, it seems Rihanna is getting us prepared for her upcoming album, ‘LOUD’– “Sassy, Fun, Flirty, Energetic”. We’re assuming this song will be her second single.
