Baby Bump: Mariah is Pregnant!

As I was watching  “The Today Show” (on NBC) this morning, as I normally would, while I get “My Princess” ready for school. I heard them mention that Mariah Carey was going to be on and that she had a huge announcement to make. To my surprise it was a great one.She sat down with Billy Bush the host from Access Hollywood and made her announcement.

Check out the details after the jump, as to what I as well as the rest of the world saw and heard this morning.

Mariah Carey has officially confirmed to “The Today Show” that in fact she is expecting!

Carey said, “You’re the first person, and when I say the first I mean the first. We haven’t spoken to anybody else, but yes it’s true, we are pregnant!”

She didn’t really want to go into specifics as to how far along she is, but she did say, “it’s still early, but we’re expecting in the spring.”

Carey stated that it’s been tough to keep it all under wraps being in the spotlight, but because of her new album, ‘Merry Christmas II You’ (which is being released on Nov. 2), she felt it was time to share the news.

“It was difficult,” says Mariah about her struggles to conceive.

As her husband Nick Cannon entered the room  to share the joy, he was congratulated and asked if it’s been emotional for him.

Nick says, “it’s absolutely emotional, but for many reasons. I mean obviously the greatest gift on Earth is a child, but than just the process of all we’ve been through.”

Mariah did mention that back when they first got married on March 30, 2008, and were in Monte Carlo for the World Music Awards, they were asked about being pregnant and they laughed it off. They also to the rumors having them question themselves, so they took a test, in which in fact came out positive. They took a few more to re-check and it turned out they were pregnant.

“Only one person knew about this,” says Mariah.

The joy for them didn’t last very long, when just a bit after a month or so she had suffered a miscarriage.

“It was really sad, so we had to really absorb this and take it in.” “Her strength would literally be during the day so festive, smiling for cameras and spending time with everyone, then later at night crying herself to sleep,” adds Nick.

The sex of the baby is yet to be determined, although there has been speculations that, “It’s A Boy.”

‘Friday Night Lights’ star Minka Kelly is Esquire’s 2010 Sexiest Woman Alive. She is featured in a steamy phototshoot for Esquire magazine November 2010 issue in which actress talks about herself, growing up, what it’s like to be 30, and growing up the daughter of a stripper.

30-year-old Minka Kelly has posed in variety of sexy lingerie in provocative poses heating up the chilly season, showing off that she well deserves the title. Minka’s Esquire photos are so sexy and it perfectly shows why she was is entitled Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive 2010.

On Growing up, Minka Kelly says:

My mom lived a fast life. It was all about what we could do to have fun with nothing. She – for most of my life, she was a dancer. An exotic dancer. She was a stripper. Um, so she would come home at like three, four o’clock in the morning, and sometimes she would have a really great night, and so she would wake me up in the middle of the night and we’d go to Ralphs and go grocery shopping. And that was so much fun. We’d have the whole grocery store to ourselves, and we would have a blast and buy a hundred dollars in groceries. And it was just the best day ever. The best day.”

On Turning 30 Minka Kelly says:

It is a big one and I love it. I think it’s the most exciting birthday I think I’ve ever had. I’m so excited to be a woman. Done with the twenties. I’m confident – confident in my skin, and I’m cool with my flaws and all that stuff. It just feels nice to be at peace with yourself. I think my thirtieth birthday gave me permission to have all that. The twenties were a pain in the ass – figuring it all out. What am I doing? Where do I go?

Spotted: Alicia Keys Brings Queen Latifah Along On Her Honeymoon! Why?!

Alicia Keys is spending her honeymoon in France. She was spotted aboard a yacht with her husband Swizz Beatz and good pal Queen Latifah on Wednesday.

From the looks of it, it looks like Queen Latifah brought along a special friend ‘Jeanette Jenkins‘ to join her. I guess you can say that the cat is officially out of the bag?

Update: Dr. Barbara Ross-Lee Denies Being Michael Jackson’s Baby Mama

Dr. Ross-Lee slammed Mocienne Jackson’s outrageous rumors today when she told TMZ reporters that it was impossible for her to have had a baby by Michael in 1975, because she had never met him at that point in her life.

Last night, Randy Jackson told TMZ reporters that the whole thing, “sounds kinda crazy.” That’s what we were thinking when this story 1st broke.

Today, Mocienne Jackson’s outrageous claim is seeming even further from the truth.

Dr. Barbara Ross-Lee tells TMZ that M.P. Jackson, “is not my daughter.” She also told sources that the woman is “delusional.” According to Dr. Ross-Lee she responded to one of Mocienne’s emails a few years ago to inform her that she was mistaken and to wish her well. There was even a time when Mocienne Jackson, “was really harassing me at my office,” says the Doctor. She was even forced to have her employer contact the police to get the harassment from Mocienne to stop. Dr. Ross-Lee told TMZ that the entire thing is nothing short of “bizarre.”

According to Dr. Ross-Lee’s biography, she graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1973. She then worked a rotating internship at Martin Place Hospital in Detroit. She also signed on with an older doctor, and after three months she left his practice and went to work on the East Side for a physicians’ group. On July 1, 1974, she opened her own practice, which she ran until 1984. Dr. Ross-Lee also married her 2nd husband in 1976.

I’d say her life was pretty full! When would she have had the time to hide a lovechild that she conceived with Michael Jackson? Remember, Mocienne was born in 1975.

Breaking News: Woman Claims to be Michael Jackson’s Love Child

This story sounds a little crazy, but if what Mocienne Jackson says is true, that would make her the daughter of the King of Pop and Dr. Barbara Ross-Lee, the first African-American woman to administer a medical school in the United States. Somebody pay up, because this woman is long overdue for her trust fund baby lifestyle!

Here’s the deal, Mocienne Petit Jackson has filed a claim in Los Angeles County Superior Court asking a judge for permission to conduct a DNA test to prove she is Michael Jackson’s biological daughter. Mocienne Jackson claims that back in 1975, when Michael Jackson was a 17-year-old he secretly impregnated her mother Barbara. Barbara, is the sister of legendary, pop diva Diana Ross! MPJ says that when she was 9 years old, Michael’s mom, Katherine Jackson, devised a plan to “abduct” her and send her to Belgium to protect Michael’s “reputation.”  According to Mocienne, all 7 of her abductors were later murdered. She is currently living in the Netherlands and has now decided to come forward with her story, so she can “formally claim my part of my father’s inheritance.” Mocienne also wants custody of Michael Jackson’s children so she can give them a “more normal life.”  She also made it a point to state that she was diagnosed with Vitiligo, the same skin condition Michael Jackson suffered from. At this point, The Jackson and Ross families have not responded to the allegations.

Celebrity News: Christina Milian Says The-Dream is Lying

Two days after TMZ released court documents filed by Terius Nash, aka The-Dream, Christina Milian breaks her silence. The documents posted on TMZ‘s website on July 22, 2010 were divorce papers filed by The-Dream just nine days before Christina gave birth to Violet. In the documents, The-Dream claims that his marriage to Christina is “irretrievably broken,” and he declares, “There is no hope for reconciliation.”

The document also states:

However, in a legal response filed last week, Christina says they were not legally separated at the time and that she and her husband had “marital relations on numerous occasions,” after he filed his claim. She wants a judge to throw out the divorce papers filed by her hubby in February, because he lied about the status of their relationship. She admits that she signed a settlement agreement with The-Dream in which both parties waved any alimony or ownership right’s to the other person’s property. However, she claims the only reason she signed the document was because The-Dream brought them to her bedside when she was 9-months pregnant and in no condition to sign such important papers.

If the court does grant the divorce Christina feels it should not be based on The-Dream’s claim that the marriage is “irretrievably broken,” but rather, because the The-Dream was cheating on her.

Dear Diary: The-Dream’s Open Letter

RAPPER The-Dream tried to commit suicide following his split from Christina Milian.

The star — who married the AM to PM beauty in September 2009 and has five-month-old daughter Violet with her — has revealed the turmoil he suffered in the months since his relationship with the beautiful pop star ended earlier this year.

“I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming,” he said.

“This is not to justify anything, it’s true emotion. It’s a real thing that involves real people.”

Earlier this month, the producer-and-rapper — real name Terius Nash — admitted his relationship with Christina ended several months ago, but they only announced their separation after he was spotted on the beach with his assistant Melissa Santiago.

Despite the pictures, Terius is adamant nobody else was involved in their split.

“I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn’t successful, but today that is between me and Christina. It’s easy to say that it’s because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, it’s not,” he said.

“I take full responsibility for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for a while! I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn’t for anyone to know. I would never intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that!”

The rapper also claimed he didn’t want to announce the marriage was over because he was embarrassed and felt like a failure.

“Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we were failing and have now failed,” he added.

In My Own Words:

First I want to thank God for the trials of life, without them we can’t know purpose!

I would love to tell the truth as to why my relationship wasn’t successful, but today that is between me and Christina.  Its easy to say that it’s because of another woman or a new relationship but truthfully, IT’S NOT.

I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile!  I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn’t for anyone to know.  I would NEVER intentionally hurt a soul and everyone around me knows that!  There was so much going on in me and Christina’s personal world that I tried to deal with it as delicately as I could and tried to regain my footing.  Instead of being direct in order not to cause even more hurt or hurt someone’s feelings, I carried the weight in secret!

I am Human and people fall in and out of Love all the time… This is Life.  Nothing’s promised or perfect, neither am I.  I am not proud that I lost something we once had…LOVE!  I’ve always been a Loving Father, Hard Worker, Generous, Stern and Eager to prove myself.  My faults are I can be irresponsible and an *ss sometimes, but I HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER be a malicious person or wish harm to anyone, especially those I love or the mother of my child.  I’m sorry for the embarrassment to everyone involved!  If there’s anyone to blame and you can’t fathom this happening, please blame me and me alone for not being upfront!  Even though we were trying to overcome personal things between us, I was just simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we WERE FAILING and HAVE NOW FAILED!

This is not to justify anything, it’s true emotion! It’s a real thing that involves real people!  I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.

But I was reminded by my MOTHER that I am not “Superman” and its okay to lose sometimes…

Just In: Melissa Marie Santiago Revealed & More Reasons to Believe The-Dream is a Liar

Meet Melissa Marie Santiago, The-Dream‘s assistant. Sources are reporting that Melissa Marie is the “mystery woman” pictured in the photos with The-Dream. The below images are said to have been taken from Melissa‘s Facebook page before she shut down her profiles on both Facebook and Myspace this morning. The second photo shows Melissa smiling with Christina Milian right next to her! Its obvious the two have known each other for some time now.

According to sources, The-Dream bought Melissa a Porsche. Talk about a job with benefits! The two drove their Porsches to a listening session back in May. Although this would lead some to believe that The-Dream did indeed spilt from his wife prior to the racy photos being released, not too many people are buying it.

Just last month in an interview with Essence.com, Dream talked about his relationship with Christina.

“We recently saw a rumor that you and wife Christina are experiencing issues because you’re unfaithful… on camera. True?

The rumors are not true and it really boils my blood. Christina and I are cool. People keep asking, ‘Why haven’t we seen you guys out together?’ I’m working, that’s why you haven’t seen us. She’s at work too in Los Angeles. The women in the pictures are actually legitimate friends of mine. The photo with me in the car and another woman… she’s a good friend who’s at my house all the time. It’s sad, because [the blogs] have humiliated her. She feels bad, I feel bad and you don’t know what that [judgment] does to that person.”

Not to mention, it’s kind of hard to believe Dream‘s side of this story when fans are referring back to Christina‘s Twitter page where she tweeted two weeks ago saying;

“Everybody go pick up that LOVEKING album from THE-DREAM ASAP! Support my boo!”

June 26th she tweeted:

“Okay I may have been a lil buzzed dancing to my boo’s performance… DON’T JUDGE ME!”

Maybe The-Dream did break-it off with his wife back in 2009, but perhaps someone should have let her in on the secret.
