Baby Bump: Mariah Carey Pregnant & It’s A Boy?!

Well, Mariah Carey still hasn’t really confirmed that she’s carrying a baby, but I think at this point, most of us are in agreement – Mariah is knocked up. How far along she is, and the gender of the baby is still in question. Fortunately, there is a very talkative “insider” who ran to Hollywood Life to dish about babies and due dates. Allegedly, Mariah is expecting a boy, and she’s due in March:

Congrats, Mariah! An insider tells HollyBaby.com that the diva and her husband, Nick Cannon, are expecting a son in March next year and are set to announce their happy news very soon!

Mariah Carey is four months pregnant with her first child — a boy! — a source close to the star tells HollyBaby.com. The Grammy award-winning singer and her husband, Nick Cannon, have been tight-lipped about her pregnancy, but she is expected to make an official announcement in the next couple of weeks when she begins promoting her new holiday album, ‘Merry Christmas II You’ (which is being released on Nov. 2).

“She’s having a boy, but the reason that Mariah didn’t want to say anything is because she is 40, and she’s superstitious,” the insider says. “But she’s going to appear on Oprah and The View, so she’s planning on making the announcement soon.”

The insider says that the couple are over the moon about their impending arrival but “they haven’t decided whether they’ll raise the baby in New York or Los Angeles.” They are currently living in Nick’s LA home while renovations are being done on the former Bel Air home of Farrah Fawcett that Mariah bought last year for $7 million. The 11,750 square feet home has five bedrooms — plenty of room for a nursery and a giant closet for Mariah!

Mariah took fertility drugs to get pregnant, according to the insider, who says, “the fertility drugs were the reason for her weight gain earlier this year.” She has also given up drinking alcohol — “she stopped drinking back in March or April this year,” the source says.

While we would have loved to see the Hello Kitty wardrobe that Mariah’s daughter would wear, we’re excited that she’s expecting a little boy — and can’t wait to see her little lamb!

“Congratulations Mariah and Nick!”

P.S. Don’t forget to let Oprah know the true facts.

With the September issue Vanity Fair gives tribute to two modern day legends lost in the same day, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. Jackson cover includes a photo of the superstar by Annie Leibovitz, with an interview retrospective by contributing editor Lisa Robinson.

In her article “The Boy Who Would Be King,” one of two cover stories in the September 2009 issue, Robinson recounts numerous interviews with Jackson, beginning with their first meeting at his family’s home in Encino, California, in 1972, when Michael was 14.

Farrah‘s cover was photograped by Bruce McBroom taken in 1976 on the same day she was photographed in her famous red bathing suit.

Subscribers are already randomly receiving the covers, while others can pick up a copy of the September 2009 issue of Vanity Fair, available on newsstands in New York and Los Angeles on August 5 and nationwide on August 11.

Just In: Farrah Fawcett Laid To Rest

https://i0.wp.com/www.limelife.com/R/ResourceModule/generated/spl110646_003_w_300_h_395.jpgIt was a grand and moving sendoff for Farrah Fawcett, who died after her long battle with cancer last week. Hollywood stars, and Farrah‘s family gathered in a Los Angeles cathedral on Tuesday to pay tribute to Charlie Angel‘s actress Farrah Fawcett, who died of cancer last week.

Ryan O’Neal, 68, was seen weeping as he lifted Farrah‘s dark brown casket covered in orange and yellow flowers while surrounded by police. The star-studded service came just five days after the 62-year-old lost her long battle against cancer.

Redmond O’Neal, 24, was given special permission to leave jail – where he has been serving time for drug charges – to attend the funeral in the presence of two police deputies and a sergeant.

Redmond, who was allowed to visit his mother at her bedside before she died, read Lamentations 3: 17 – 26 from the Bible, while his father read Wisdom 3: 1- 9.

Representing Farrah‘s most popular TV show Charlie’s Angels was her former co-star Kate Jackson, who looked sombre in a black dress and sunglasses as she entered the cathedral. Farrah‘s ex-husband, Lee Majors, Ernie Hudson, romance novelist Jackie Collins and sister Joan Collins also attended.

Rest in peace Farrah.
