Just In: The-Dream Says He Tried to Kill Himself Over Failed Marriage with Christina

The-Dream has posted an open letter on his website.

In the letter Dream apologizes to fans for “misleading everyone” into believing his marriage was fine when he really was, “simply scared and embarrassed to let everyone know we were failing.” He also claims in this letter that he tried to commit suicide when he realized his marriage with singer Christina Milian was failing.

He wrote:

“I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I’ve tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming.”

The letter dramatically ends with,

“This too shall pass! And everything will be fine!”

Meanwhile, Mediatakeout.com has reported on their site that a close friend of Christina leaked information to them about the couples dysfunctional marriage saying,

“she has NEVER removed her ring because she and Dream NEVER broke up….. His announcement was the first time he ever expressed not wanting to spend the rest of his life with her”

Christina Milian and The-Dream’s split became public earlier this week in an announcement from The-Dream’s rep.

The following images of Christina still wearing her ring were taken on 7/14/10.

Just In: Melissa Marie Santiago Revealed & More Reasons to Believe The-Dream is a Liar

Meet Melissa Marie Santiago, The-Dream‘s assistant. Sources are reporting that Melissa Marie is the “mystery woman” pictured in the photos with The-Dream. The below images are said to have been taken from Melissa‘s Facebook page before she shut down her profiles on both Facebook and Myspace this morning. The second photo shows Melissa smiling with Christina Milian right next to her! Its obvious the two have known each other for some time now.

According to sources, The-Dream bought Melissa a Porsche. Talk about a job with benefits! The two drove their Porsches to a listening session back in May. Although this would lead some to believe that The-Dream did indeed spilt from his wife prior to the racy photos being released, not too many people are buying it.

Just last month in an interview with Essence.com, Dream talked about his relationship with Christina.

“We recently saw a rumor that you and wife Christina are experiencing issues because you’re unfaithful… on camera. True?

The rumors are not true and it really boils my blood. Christina and I are cool. People keep asking, ‘Why haven’t we seen you guys out together?’ I’m working, that’s why you haven’t seen us. She’s at work too in Los Angeles. The women in the pictures are actually legitimate friends of mine. The photo with me in the car and another woman… she’s a good friend who’s at my house all the time. It’s sad, because [the blogs] have humiliated her. She feels bad, I feel bad and you don’t know what that [judgment] does to that person.”

Not to mention, it’s kind of hard to believe Dream‘s side of this story when fans are referring back to Christina‘s Twitter page where she tweeted two weeks ago saying;

“Everybody go pick up that LOVEKING album from THE-DREAM ASAP! Support my boo!”

June 26th she tweeted:

“Okay I may have been a lil buzzed dancing to my boo’s performance… DON’T JUDGE ME!”

Maybe The-Dream did break-it off with his wife back in 2009, but perhaps someone should have let her in on the secret.

Just In: The-Dream Caught Cheating

Christina Milian‘s “Dream” seems to be more of a nightmare.

Paparazzi have released photos of the Singer’s husband, The-Dream cheating!

Images surfaced today (Monday, July 12th 2010) of Terius “The-Dream” Nash getting touchy feely with Melissa Santiago while frolicking on a Caribbean beach.

The-Dream appears to be looking right at the cameras in two of the photos!

While others show his hands groping Melissa‘s bottom & her legs wrapped around his waist.

The-Dream’s rep. has stated that the Singer/Producer is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. According to his rep. the couple decided the relationship had failed late 2009, but opted to keep the news private.

This news comes as a shocker and is rather hard to believe considering the fact that the couple had their second wedding ceremony, in Rome, in December of 2009.

The couple’s daughter Violet, was born five months ago, on February 26th of this year. Christina‘s only statements about the incident were posted on her Twitter page.

The singer tweeted,

“I’ve officially lost my appetite.
WHATEVER YOU THINK     BELIEVE IT.”

Just In: Jackson Family Visit Michael’s Grave

[The Jackson Family visit Micheal Jackson grave on the 1st Anniversary of his death at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at Glendale, California.]

On the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death, Janet, Randy, Tito and Jermaine Jackson gathered at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, Calif. to pay their respects.

The group — all dressed in black — arrived around 11 a.m. PT and entered through a back entrance of the mausoleum in which Michael is interned. About 500 fans also quietly gathered, many wearing sequined jackets or white gloves, according to a witness.

Michael‘s children Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8, were not in attendance. They were last publicly spotted in Hawaii Thursday with their grandmother (and legal guardian), Katherine Jackson.

“Sorry Big Bro, for not getting ur children there on the anniversary of ur last day. I tried,” Twittered Randy.

Katherine traveled to Michael‘s hometown of Gary, Ind. Friday afternoon, where she unveiled a marble memorial of her son. A cell-phone vigil was also held in broad daylight outside Michael‘s childhood home.

Joe Jackson filed a wrongful death suit against Michael‘s doctor, Conrad Murray, Friday at the federal court in downtown Los Angeles, TMZ.com reported. Joe claims Dr. Murray withheld information from doctors and EMTs that could have saved Michael‘s life, and he’s suing the doctor for unspecified damages as a result. (A federal court clerk told the site there was a “mistake” in the paperwork, though, so the lawsuit will have to be refiled.)

Just In: Joe Jackson files wrongful death suit

https://i1.wp.com/www.nowmagazine.co.uk/imageBank/j/joe-jackson.jpgMichael Jackson‘s father, Joe Jackson filed a wrongful death lawsuit Friday against the doctor charged with giving the pop superstar a lethal dose of sedatives one year ago, accusing the Nevada doctor of negligence, secrecy and poor training.

Joe Jackson sued Dr. Conrad Murray on Friday — the anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death — in federal court in Los Angeles.

The complaint, which seeks more than $75,000, accuses Murray of professional negligence for providing the singer with a mix of sedatives — including the anesthetic propofol — that authorities say killed him.

Propofol is normally administered only in hospital settings, but Murray had been providing Jackson the drug in the bedroom of the singer’s rented mansion in Los Angeles. Joe Jackson contends the physician tried to conceal his administration of the drug after Jackson’s death.

The lawsuit also names medical clinics that Murray operates in Las Vegas and Houston, claiming they did not properly train or supervise the doctor. The lawsuit was filed in federal court because Murray‘s clinics are in other states and the doctor lives in Nevada.

Murray has pleaded not guilty to an involuntary manslaughter charge filed in February. His attorneys have said that he did not give Jackson anything that “should have” killed him.

His civil attorney, Charles Peckham, repeated that assertion Friday.

“We’d like to remind people that Dr. Murray has not been found guilty of anything and we believe his innocence will be proven in a court of law,” Peckham said in a statement. “We’ve been told we were going to be sued for months so today’s filing is no surprise to us.”

Joe Jackson’s attorney, Brian Oxman said there’s a one-year deadline after a death to sue doctors in the state of California.

“It’s an important thing for Joseph Jackson,” Oxman said of the lawsuit after he personally filed it. “He wants justice for his son Michael.”

Also Friday, a court official in Nevada approved what a prosecutor called a reprieve of efforts to revoke Murray‘s medical license in that state.

Prosecutor Gerard Costantian said Murray‘s attorneys paid about $5,000 toward Murray‘s $15,000 back child support obligation, and the rest will be paid in coming months. Murray’s lawyer Kristine Brewer said later the money came from an anonymous benefactor whose name she didn’t know.

https://i1.wp.com/image.com.com/tv/images/processed/default/6c/67/6c670e5460833c1604e150c2ac8b632c_def.jpg

Murray owes the money to the mother of his 12-year-old son in California. He didn’t have to appear in court Friday. Nevada law allows for the suspension of professional licenses for nonpayment of child support.

The lawsuit came on a day when fans around the world were mourning Jackson. Joe Jackson was not seen at two of the marquee locations — the unveiling of a statue in the family’s hometown of Gary, Ind., and the Glendale, Calif., cemetery where his son is interred.

Joe Jackson‘s lawsuit claims Murray repeatedly lied to paramedics and doctors about giving Jackson propofol. Using hospital records obtained earlier this year, the lawsuit claims Murray told an emergency room doctor that he had only provided Jackson two medications, Valium and Flomax.

It also claims the doctor changed his story to police. Murray‘s attorneys have said detectives misinterpreted parts of Murray‘s statements, and their official timeline differs from what he says happened.

The lawsuit faults Murray for not keeping adequate medical records. It also says Murray used his clinics in Nevada and Texas to obtain drugs that were then given to Michael Jackson.

The Jackson family patriarch is seeking damages for a variety of issues, including loss of income and support, emotional distress, and pain and suffering.

It is unclear what money, if any, he’ll be able to collect if he wins. Even before Jackson‘s death, Murray faced mounting debts and adverse judgments in several courts for unpaid bills and child support. His $150,000 a month contract to be Jackson‘s personal physician while the singer performed in a series of comeback London concerts was never signed, and his attorneys have said he is barely hanging on financially.

The complaint leaves the door open to additional defendants being added.

“Mr. Jackson believes there are other parties responsible for Michael Jackson’s death, but has not yet gathered sufficient information regarding their potential liability or responsibility,” the complaint states.

Jackson has filed a complaint against concert promoter AEG Live with the California Medical Board, alleging it was engaged in the illegal practice of medicine by allegedly guiding Murray‘s treatments of the singer.

Steve Cron, a criminal defense attorney who also handles civil matters, including wrongful cases, said the case will likely benefit from the criminal prosecution of Murray.

He said Joe Jackson‘s attorney will now have access to evidence presented in that case, and could have the case strengthened if Murray is convicted.

“Hopefully from his point of view, Murray gets convicted,” Cron said. “If he’s convicted, that pretty much makes it a done deal that he’s liable.”

But Cron said there are disadvantages to filing the case in federal court, rather than state court where most wrongful death actions are heard. He said the case will likely move faster through the federal system than it would a state court, and the makeup of the jury will become a greater factor.

Cron said a civil jury would have to unanimously find Murray is liable; in state court only nine jurors would have to find him guilty in the civil case.

Just In: Matt Kemp ‘Was Never Physically Abusive’ To Ex-Girlfriend

Rihanna & Matt Kemp Hang Out

The last thing Rihanna needs is to end up with another abusive man and reports of a restraining order against her new beau Matt Kemp by an ex-girlfriend, had people worried she was heading into the wrong direction.

According to Pop On The Pop we don’t need to worry about her new relationship, Matt’s agent Dave Stewart says he was never abusive to Felisha Terrell.

“Matt dated Felisha about two years ago and decided to end their relationship. She chose to file a complaint and shortly thereafter, on her own accord, decided to drop it based on the fact that the statements made within were false. She has very recently said that she has no issue whatsoever with Matt and that she and Matt consider this to be a non-issue.”

A representative for Felisha also cleared the air by saying during the relationship “there was a restraining order filed by Felisha but it had nothing to do with domestic violence and to be clear Matt was NEVER physically abusive to Felisha, nor did she fear for her life. The restraining order was subsequently vacated.”

“I’m a huge fan of Rihanna, but I’m not going to lie when I heard about her new man “Matt Kemp” possibly being abusive, I was a bit worried for her. She really doesn’t need another one of these episodes in her life. She’s young and deserves to be happy. She’s back and ready to blow us all away with her beautiful music. Keep up the good work and I wish her the best in everything she does.”

Just In: Michael Jackson was to direct movie about foster children

According to OMG!, three months before his death, Michael Jackson committed to co-directing and financing a movie — a poignant drama about foster children — and planned to get started as soon as he completed his London concerts.

The news is the latest in a series of revelations that are helping to shed light on the pop star’s passions and projects, even as the investigation into his abuse of prescription drugs and a tussle over custody of his children rage on.

The movie project also is eerily keyed to one of the most haunting aspects of Jackson‘s life: his apparent feeling that the Jackson 5‘s huge success robbed him of his childhood.

“He was very excited about making movies and wanted his hands on everything, from working on screenplays to producing, to writing the music. However, he never showed any interest in acting,” B-movie producer, writer and director Bryan Michael Stoller said of Jackson, who starred in the 1978 pic “The Wiz.”

Stoller said he had a 23-year friendship with the pop star and was his partner in the film company Magic Shadows. He was to have co-directed the movie, called “They Cage the Animals at Night,” which Stoller said they had been developing for seven years.

INSPIRED BY BOOK

The project was based on a 1985 book about the real-life experiences of author Jennings Michael Burch, who bounced around foster homes as a child. Jackson showed the book to Stoller in 2002 at his Neverland estate and asked if he wanted to produce and co-direct a movie version.

Michael told me often he felt like he grew up as an orphan, like a foster kid, because he never was in one home,” Stoller said. “To him every hotel was like a different foster home. He said he used to sit in the window and see kids playing outside and cry because he couldn’t be part of that.”

Stoller optioned the book for $1 — initially without telling Burch about Jackson‘s involvement. When he did tell him, Stoller said the author was excited to work with the singer.

Jackson, meanwhile, was concerned that Burch, then 67 and suffering from cancer, might not survive to see the movie made. So Stoller suggested bringing Burch to Neverland in 2003, where Jackson turned the tables and interviewed him for what was to be a TV special and for the eventual DVD.

During their highly charged conversation, Jackson asked the author if he had ever considered suicide. Burch said he had, and Jackson said he too had considered it during his darkest days. (A clip from this footage is available at THR.com.)

Stoller recorded their meeting, an addition to a collection of videos he made with Jackson over the years, and to hours of audio recordings from their meetings.

Stoller told The Hollywood Reporter he has now come forward because he believes this material humanizes his friend at a time when much myth-making about Jackson is taking place. The producer also is marketing his video, audio and photos either for outright sale or as a project he would produce and direct.

He said he already has had interest from NBC, CBS and E!

But insiders in the Jackson camp said there was no formal deal in place for any Jackson involvement in “Cage”; discussions between the artist and Stoller occurred when Jackson was without management, which may have frowned on any distractions as he prepared for the London shows.

‘CAST AWAY’ CAST OFF

Jackson‘s last film foray was a 2005 comedic farce, “Miss Cast Away and the Island Girls,” produced, written and directed by Stoller and starring Eric Roberts. Jackson is briefly in the movie as Agent M.J., who comes to the rescue of various characters on a beam of light. The movie was a direct-to-DVD release sold briefly at Blockbuster stores.

When Jackson was indicted on child molestation charges shortly after its release, Blockbuster pulled the film from its shelves. “Miss Cast Away” has been sold overseas by Showcase Entertainment, and Stoller said he has offers for a new domestic video release for Jackson‘s last movie appearance.

“They Cage the Animals” also was affected by the molestation charges, Stoller said. In 2003 the producer arranged a three-hour meeting in a Universal City hotel between Jackson and Mel Gibson, who besides being an actor is a producer and partner in Icon Prods. “They got along great,” Stoller said. “It was kind of funny. Mel was a little nervous. He was hugging a pillow the whole time, kind of playing with it. Michael was kind of shy.”

Icon signed a deal to develop the project with a budget of $12 million-$20 million, according to Stoller, who was paid by Icon to write the screenplay. A couple of months later, when Jackson was indicted in Santa Barbara, Calif., Icon dropped the project, and Gibson stopped returning Stoller‘s phone calls. There were news reports in 2005 that Icon had dropped the project. A spokesman for Icon said the company briefly was involved in developing it in 1995 but had lost interest by 1997. Stoller has a copy of his contract with Icon dated 2002.

Stoller said Icon still owns the screenplay, but an Icon representative rebutted that, saying the company has had no involvement or ownership for 10 years. Gibson declined comment for this report.

WATCHING MOVIES

Jackson lost contact with Stoller for about two years during the period when the singer was on trial. But after his acquittal, Jackson reached out to him. They had watched dozens of movies in the Neverland theater; Stoller said Jackson‘s favorite was “To Kill a Mockingbird,” and that they also discussed doing a remake of the comedy musical “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.”

“When Jackson called in 2007, he still had movies on his mind,” Stoller said. “He had begun to purchase movie production equipment. He was always asking how things work, but I never saw him really work things. But he wanted all the toys. He bought a dolly and wanted me to show the kids how to use it because they were using it as a play toy, riding around on it.”

Jackson wasn’t interested in making a blockbuster. “He wanted to do movies the Academy would like,” Stoller recalled.

Three months before Jackson‘s death, he and Stoller had “a pretty serious meeting” about reviving “They Cage the Animals” as an indie feature, the producer said.

Michael was going to put up $8 million and not have to deal with any studios or producers and then take it to the studios afterward,” Stoller said. “He was very passionate about being a director. He was determined to make this movie.”

Just In: Joe Jackson Says “I’m Not Encouraging Michael’s Kids to Be Entertainers”

Despite earlier comments to ABC News that Michael Jackson‘s kids could be stars, Joe Jackson now says has no plans to turn them into entertainers.

“I’m not encouraging them to do nothing. They have to be what they are, kids at the moment,” he said on Monday’s Larry King Live

He said the “Jackson Three” rumors are “a bunch of jive.”

He also denied ever abusing his late son, who died June 25 at age 50 after suffering cardiac arrest, despite previous accusations from the King of Pop himself.

“I never abused my son,” Joe insisted. “Michael was never beaten.”

Joe revealed that he didn’t know the location of his son’s body.

He also said that although he hasn’t seen any results from the family’s private autopsy, he still suspects “foul play” in his son’s death.

Speaking of the singer’s private physician Dr. Conrad Murray, Joe said: “The doctor gave him something to make him rest and he don’t wake up no more. Something is wrong.”
