This is a super hot week for Britney Spears. She just announced that Nicki Minaj will be touring with her this summer and now she’s getting down and dirty with red hot Rihanna on her hit song “S&M”.
Rihanna headed to her Twitter (@Rihanna) to ask fans which artist they would like love to see on her “S&M” remix and Britney Spears seemed to be the leader of the pack. Rihanna contacted Britney and the two pop divas collaborated on the singer’s sexiest single.
Rihanna was even super excited when Britney agreed to do the remix. She took to her Twitter to tease her fans about the new collabo.
“I got a #SEXY collabo comin your way supa dupa soon!!!! OH YEAH!!! By popular demand,” she teased, later revealing, “Its BRITNEY BITCH!!!! One of the biggest worldwide popstars! U gangsta #EPIC.”

Jay-Z has always wished to do a collaboration with Sade. Well his wish has finally been granted. Sade does her very first musical collaboration with none other than Jay-Z. Her latest track “The Moon & Sky” is one of my favorite new tracks. Sade is a very a soulful singer, but the remix with Jay-Z is just magic. The Ultimate Collection drops May 3.

Nicki Minaj brings her sexy on the cover of Elle’s May Music issue. Nicki leaves behind the colorful wigs and random ridiculous ensembles for a more tamed look. Elle’s Music Issue has a dual cover with star Gwen Stefani on it; the issue features artists Adele, Willow Smith, Jennifer Hudson, Feist, Hillary Scott, Robyn, Stevie Nicks, Florence Welch, and Aretha Franklin.
On being a rapper: “I always wanted to play with the boys. I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role. I wanted to be more of a lead character – a superhero.”
On her sense of style: “I tend to like booties…[pause]”—she takes a beat to clarify: no sexual meaning implied—“and really flashy shoes: totally studded out, in five colors with an insane platform.”
On her song “My Chick Bad” with Ludacris: “[I] chose to do punch lines and be comical, to show how bad I am lyrically, as opposed to how sexy I think I am.”

Rihanna’s steamy collaboration Drake, the Island-infused love jam “What’s My Name”, off of Rihanna‘s ‘LOUD’ album, is the number one song in the country right now. Perfect timing for the song’s video to drop, no? In the video, Rihanna and Drake get touchy-feely with one another.
Drake told the New York Times back in June about his brief relationship with Rihanna after she had asked him to write a song for her (that was never released).
“I was a pawn,” he said. “You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, wow, this feels terrible.”
Looks like the two artists were able to kiss (on camera) and make up to make this sweet new video. We’ll cheers to that!

Chrisette Michele is not happy with a certain Miami reppin’ rapper she’s done some collabos with named Rick Ross. What did he do to upset her you ask? Welllll, Wednesday night at the Soul Train Awards he threw a hissy fit and stormed out because he lost “Best Hip Hop Song” went to Eminem.
Michelle was so put off by Ross’ exit that she felt the need to “denounce” him, and hip-hop in general, on her blog:
If this is the way hip hop is then I denounce it.
This is not about ego. This is about what I can bring to the world. My life is for the people. I live to give. It’s my desire to bring life and freedom light and love everywhere I go. Upward mobility in the brown skinned community.
Who stands off at an award show because they don’t win? An award is winning at being as “stuck in a category” as possible. Congratulations to all the trophy holders who won at being the most like every one else.I could have sworn hip hop was on the come up. But apparently rapping is about venting, bashing, chauvinistic pigging, and EGO. Not cool. Don’t LET me start rapping.
They say…I’m ecclectic. I’m underrated. I’m different. Well If I win an award it’s because I paved a way. Every award I’ve won was new in it’s category. You know why? Because I’m amazing at being my damn self.Grammy – best alternative R&B song Centric award – Soul Approved Etc
Have u even heard of those categories? Nope. But guess what? You ain’t never seen another me. And u never will. No ego here. Why? Because it’s none needed. My award is waking up every morning and CAKING off of what I believe in by the grace of God.Maybe I’ll call my 4th album “winners : just like every body else” maybe not.
I pray with every song I sing Im singing from the bottom of my heart. If all we want is an award for telling our truths, then we really have no true reason. This isn’t a competition. This is a stage for self expression and I’m grateful for the opportunity to live on it. I’d sing even if nobody sang along.-from the bottom of my disappointed heart. Hip Hop… Man up. I wanted to be supportive but I can’t understand you. I believed in you… But apparently you’re so high you can’t even see what the world needs
Is all hip hop like that? Absolutely not! But some of it certainly is. Let me spit a few bars. I’m not that kinda hip hop. I rep hip hop too. But not that kinda ego trippin foolery.

Keri Hilson gives us a history lesson in her new video for “Pretty Girl Rock”, off her upcoming album ‘No Boys Allowed’. Miss Keri Baby kicks off the vid taking a cue from Josephine Baker in 20s regalia, and soon Hilson goes flows throughout the decades, fashioning herself as Diana Ross, Janet Jackson decked out in her utilitarian wear in “Rhythm Nation” and TLC’s T-Boz in the group’s silk pajamas-sporting “Creep” vid.

“The video is cute, but not my favorite. I think it should’ve looked much more tough, she looks to dainty in this video. What are your thoughts on this video?”
Here goes the most anticipated remaining track, to Kanye West‘s “G.O.O.D. Fridays”, called “All Of The Lights” off of his upcoming album, ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ which is just a few weeks away from being released on November 22nd. YAY!!!
The song is created with the triumphant feel of the multiple horns, the melody, and the production. The song features the likes of, John Legend, The-Dream, Ryan Leslie, Tony Williams, Charlie Wilson, La Roux’s Elly Jackson, Alicia Keys, Fergie, Kid Cudi, Rihanna, and the legendary Elton John. West does all the verses and the guest stars are scattered throughout hooks and bridges. Kanye uses a combination of rapping, singing, repetition, and memorable lines. If that doesn’t keep you entertained enough, then the bridges sure will.
From the fellas to the female’s “we’re going all the way this time” breakdown, which is sick from beginning to end. The song is DOPE from start to finish. Kanye not only did his thing personally, but made it all work with the talent involved by creating such a unique sound from one to the next. Nothin’ but thumbs up for Kanye West, he definitely knows how to create some good tunes. The single is getting tons of buzz around the net, and is quite epic, so be sure to check it out below.
Download & Listen to the after the jump….Enjoy it, it’s DOPE!!

T.I. and Chris Brown premiere the music video for the latest single “Get Back Up”. The track is off of T.I.‘s ‘No Mercy’ album previously known as ‘King Uncaged’, which is set to be released in stores on December 7th. As for the message of the song, well let’s just say, “sometimes getting back up from a big fall is the best thing you can do, especially for T.I. who just got sent back to jail, and Chris Brown for his major fall, with his domestic incident with Rihanna“.
