R&B singer Chris Brown sang ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ at the welterweight fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Sugar Shane Mosley tonight (May 1) in Las Vegas. He sounded a bit nervous but he did a good job.

Everybody loves a comeback, and T.I. is in full force with his return. One month after the self proclaimed ‘King of the South,’ T.I., was released from prison on felony gun possession, he tweeted that the premiere of his first post-prison music single, ‘I’m Back’, off his forthcoming album ‘King Uncaged’ hit the internet, it finds Tip getting reacquainted with his hometown.
“sneak peak #2 of the “i’m back” video @ http://bit.ly/b6cCta – debuts monday @ 2pm EST on http://www.trapmuzik.com and oh yeah…the album date is pushed up 8.17.10 – King Uncaged.,” says T.I. via his Twitter account on Tuesday April 26th.
‘King Uncaged’ is already being compared to 2 Pac’s 1996 multi-platinum selling album ‘All Eyes On Me’ that was released shortly after his prison stint.
“This is the most significant return from incarceration that the game has had since then,” T.I. says. “Just given the enormous success of that project, everyone’s expecting the same results. I just want to meet the expectations, if not surpass them.”
On Monday night, the Atlanta rapper premiered the video for “I’m Back,” the first track he’s released since he ended his federal prison sentence earlier this year.
The clip debuted on T.I.’s website, and features him returning to his roots.
Tip, sitting shotgun in a black SUV, is driven to a group of buildings. The truck slowly pulls up to a warehouse in the complex and Tip exits the vehicle as the door to the building opens. T.I. quickly enters and lights a match to brighten up the dark space.
Clad in a hoodie, T-shirt and little jewelry, Tip walks up to a covered car parked inside.
When T.I. pulls back the cover, the camera finds his car, a Ferrari, waiting for him. The rapper shuffles over to the trunk of the import and inside spots a leather bag, from which he retrieves wads of cash and an expensive watch and necklace set. And his shades.
From there, Tip takes a spin in his car and gets reacquainted with his hometown.
But like the lyrics in the song, T.I. isn’t revisiting his past mistakes, he’s moving on.
“Probably just seen Wayne, Gucci Mane, me and Boosie all go to prison, now he flippin’ his whole image,” Tip raps. “Really trippin’, listen dude, for you that’s not in your cards/ Think the power’s in the gun, but overall it’s in your heart.”
The rapper, who hasn’t spoken much since he was released from prison late last month has been hard at work on his album, which is scheduled to arrive in stores and online August 17.
In an interview that was posted on his site recently, the rapper spoke about the project and promised fans a more aggressive tone on ‘King Uncaged’.
“I want to maintain the level of success I’ve been fortunate enough to do, over and over again, over the years,” Tip said. “This album is different in many ways. I think that Paper Trail was a lot more about thoughts; this is more about feelings. This is significantly more aggressive, or at least at this period in production. Who knows? I can do 10 love songs tomorrow and change the direction. At this point, right now, it’s going hard. It’s going hard like classic T.I.”

Shyne has officially returned back into the music radar and we have, his latest music feature which is on Rihanna‘s latest single “Rude Boy” Remix. The voice is not the way it used to be back in the days. I don’t know how I feel about his sound. Take a listen below and let us know your thoughts.
Rihanna plugged her “Rated R” album with a (fake) tattoo of the album title down her throat at the American Music Awards Sunday night.
She came out a gurney and performed a combo of “Wait Your Turn” and “Hard,” both from the new album wearing a white bondage jumpsuit made of strips, skin, and a collar of bullets.

Drake falls onstage and he re-injures his knee. MC tweets after fall, “Getting surgery this week but I’m walking”….
Drake took a chance when he decided to perform on the “America’s Most Wanted” tour with an injured knee, and that chance turned out badly on Friday night, when he had a nasty fall and had to be helped offstage at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, New Jersey.
The up-and-coming rapper/singer tore his ACL several weeks ago and, up until just before the tour — which also features Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Soulja Boy and others — began, it was up in the air as to whether he would perform at all at all. However, he decided to take a risk and play a short set, coming onstage for three songs.
In footage of the fall on YouTube, Drake is seen walking past Lil Wayne (with whom he was performing) and suddenly slipping. Within seconds, stagehands help him up and assist the badly limping MC offstage.
Lil Wayne stops the track and jokes with the crowd about needing extra insurance for the tour. He asks the audience to make some noise for Drizzy, and then asks if any ladies in the house can do Drake‘s verse for him.
After his fall, Drake tweeted about the fall.
“We straight,” he wrote. “Just to show that this ACL sh– ain’t a joke. Thanks for the support, and we’ll be back … Young moola.”
“All is well…,” he wrote later. “On the bus laying down… Getting surgery this week but I’m walking. Thank my whole YM family for the help. Lion Hearts!”
His DJ, Future, tweeted about the incident as well.
“When you love what you do, you take risks for the people that love what you do. He took the risk for the fans.”
There was no official word on Drake‘s condition or when he might rejoin the tour, which continues at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York on Saturday night (August 1), at press time.
Drake talked with MTV News about his injury during the tour’s kickoff last week.
“I didn’t really get any approval from my doctor, but I made a personal decision 48 hours ago that I’d be letting a lot of people down if I didn’t show up and at least show them I’m there for them,” Drake said. “For the last two weeks, I’ve been really going hard, getting all types of acupuncture, trying to bring the swelling down. I’m walking around — no cane. I’ll put a brace on it tomorrow night. No one will probably even know I’m injured…I’m not doing my own set. That’s one thing I have to apologize to my fans about. It’s too much of a risk, if I hit that wrong turn [doing] 30 minutes every night. If I tear my ACL again, the doctors say I might not be able to walk again. I have to be cautious.”

Usher covers Vegas Magazine and from the looks of it, it seems like he’s back to the way his fans love him.
The magazine quoted him saying, In time I’m going to grow older, but I hope that I can be remembered for being a great father to my sons, a gentleman, and a renaissance man.”
Trying to pin down what Usher has been up to lately could take hours of interviews and a river of ink. At the moment, he’s set to release his sixth studio album, “Monster”, as well as the third fragrance in his collection, VIP. Then there’s his philanthropy work and his eponymous foundation (through which 20 teens will get to direct the first video off Monster). On top of all that, he’s the father of two young sons, one-and-a-half-year-old Usher Raymond V and seven-month-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. (“That’s all I need, a daughter to make me superweak,” he jokes about adding to his brood.) In June, he announced his separation from his wife of two years, Tameka Foster.
With this much going on in his life, it’s no wonder that Usher sequestered himself and his crew in Las Vegas to produce Monster. Usher and his team, including music superstars Pharrell, Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, rented out the third floor of the Palms Resort Casino, then made a daily commute to the resort’s in-house recording studio, where everyone from Elton John to Mary J Blige to Axl Rose has laid down tracks. “Vegas is good livin’, a product of positive energy, upward thinking,” Usher says. “Every time we’d go out to a club, there would be motivation there. [Recording in Vegas] allowed me to open my mind and just be creative and think outside the box.”
He even discusses how he plans on being back real lovemaking music for the masses:
“The sex in music, the good sex in music, the lovemaking in music, we’ve begun to depart from it. Right now it’s all about hitting it and quitting it. I think there are a ton of women out there who want to be made love to and want to have that song going that they really want to make love to.”

“What do you think of his cover shot?”
She may have strutted her baby bump down a Brazilian runway just a little over a month ago, but when it comes to her latest ad campaign, Gisele Bündchen’s bump is no where in sight. The supermodel, who is expecting her first baby with husband Tom Brady, shows off her famous body in just a barely-belted, classic London Fog trench coat for the brand’s fall ad campaign. But don’t expect to see a dramatic reveal of the supermodel’s swelling tummy. “Although Gisele was photographed while pregnant, most of the shots have been retouched to respect her privacy during this wonderful and personal time in her life,” Dari Marder Chief Marketing Officer, London Fog revealed in a press release. “Nobody is sexier or more beautiful than Gisele Bündchen in nothing but a London Fog trench coat, even with her visible baby bump,” adds Marder. Make that barely-visible. Gisele’s London Fog ads will debut in October fashion, lifestyle and entertainment magazines as well as on billboards and online.
